Why Hailsham House?

"A relative’s tale on choosing a Nursing Home

My wife suffers from severe dementia. When I came to Hailsham House which is quite a journey for me to come I was very impressed and I am still impressed and I know you look after them very well indeed. I know for one thing that my wife is very very happy here which is of great importance, and that makes me happy. The standard of care is very high. The carers are all very kind to her and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Life as a resident

Ken’s tale on admission to Willow Unit, Hailsham House and his life in the home.

"I remember being in the hospital and I also remember causing some trouble. We got sorted out over that and I thought to myself, I’ve got to make improvements to myself and I gained strength from the staff here in Willow. Great nurses they are and I have to say they’ve got me through to where I am now and I feel OK and I feel better now.

Everyone here has done a marvellous job. They are very very good and if it wasn’t for those nurses I don’t think I’d be sitting here now. It’s like a home which I didn’t expect it to be. It’s a nice place."
